All of Gri Gri perfumes are inspired by some tattoo technique. Moko Maori is a reference to the Maori’s sacred tribal patterns, contrast of dark and light and life on an island never far from ocean waves, hence a green marine character of the perfume.
The Moko Maori's list of notes is probably the most exotic we have seen so far.
Top notes: tussok grass, New Zealand flax.
Heart: fern, kowhai.
Base: manuka, lichen.
